Roger King recently installed a Rinnai heater in our home. I was so impressed with his knowledge of the product and his professionalism while in our home. He was a pleasure. He was so neat and took the time to make sure the line leading to the propane tank was neat and matched the color of our house. I can't say enough about how impressed I am with his work! Great job! I am also excited about using this heater. I should have had one of these installed years ago! Thanks again.

“Today I discovered that I had run out of oil at my business.  The company I used was not in this area for another 6 days.  We use Dead River for our home and decided to call you today. Both women that I spoke to were awesome to work with. Sheri Doyon also went WAY above and beyond what any other company would do and called the delivery truck who happened to be in my area. Within 1 HOUR I had heat!  I would have been thrilled if they had made it out on their next delivery day, but no- they made it out TODAY!  When my heat kicks off I usually need my brother to come and restart the furnace but no- your delivery man did that for me. All I can say is WOW. I will NEVER use another heating company again. ”

I recently installed a new Lennox forced hot air furnace and a new Rennai hot water heater both using LP. I used my own plumber from Buxton for the install. I had been a Dead River customer using K 1 and decided to switch to LP. Just wanted you to know about some of the Dead River staff that helped me this past week. First is Lori who was very helpful from when I first called about the project back in March right through until we finished this past week. She was very patient and answered my many questions as we went along, gave me payment options and helped with scheduling the delivery of the tanks. Scott met with me at the site and helped decide where and how best to locate the two tanks. Connie helped when Lori was with another customer and helped get me the info I needed. Don delivered the tanks and did a great job installing them. Nice and neat. Everyone was helpful and did what they said they would and did it in a friendly manner.

I felt the need to email you and tell you about my visit to your office on Friday afternoon, June 15, 2012.  I am retired and have worked as a Supervisor for over 40 years for the State of Maine and dealt with customers on a daily basis.The young lady who greeted me at the counter was Laurie.  She was extremely polite and helpful.  I felt the need to tell you that she represented your company with the utmost of professionalism.  People are always eager to criticize but rarely compliment employees who demonstrate good customer service.  When I left I felt like Dead River really cared about their customers.  Job well done Laurie!!

Mark, your service tech, could not have been nicer. Not only did he clean my furnace but he went way beyond and above. My cat had been hit by a car and my friend had a medical emergency all at the same time. He helped me get a box and put the cat in it for me and even offered to bury it. I was so shook up that he even offered to drive me the mile down the road to the hospital to pick up my elderly friend that had walked to the hospital emergency room. Needless to say, it was a tough Monday morning. I don’t know what I would have done if he hadn’t been there to clean my furnace. No words could thank him enough for his offer of help

“We had our usual yearly maintenance for our oil boiler. This turned into a "not our usual" maintenance. The technician, Richard Tallman, came in and did the most thorough clean and check we have ever had done. My husband has worked for a utility company for over 40 years and is somewhat familiar with the routine but is not a service person. He was very impressed with Richard's pride in his work and his willingness to share his knowledge with how and why he was doing things. The only drawback is now that we know how things can be done our expectations may have jumped up a few notches. It is a pleasure to see someone with integrity. “I have used and currently am an active customer of Dead River. When I was renting in the past (apartment) my landlord used Dead River for the heating service. I was and am still so extremely satisfied with the quality of service, when I purchased my home 3 years ago and was no longer a tenant of an apartment, I absolutely refused to have heating services through anywhere else. I had required immediately before moving into my new home 3+ years ago that the other heating company remove their tank and to have Dead River install theirs. That's how positive and satisfied I am about Dead River. They care about their customers. As well as the Dead River customer service. Everytime I call the staff on the other end is so very nice and welcoming. Dead River has made me as a customer/community member feel like priority. The techs that come to my home to inspect or fix things are very helpful and educational. They are honest people who do try to save you money when it comes to effectively and efficiently heating your home. Also to inspect your home of possible leaks to make sure your home is safe. My experience has been phenomenal. Dead River gets 5 Stars.”
