The Maine Department of Environmental Protection urges homeowners to have their oil tanks tested for safety annually. Call Dead River Company to request ultrasonic tank testing and monitoring by a certified technician. To learn more about the value of annual tank inspections, watch this public service announcement from the DEP.

For additional peace of mind, Dead River Company also offers the TankSure Program.* Using ultrasonic equipment, we will annually monitor and test your above-ground fuel storage tank to measure its thickness and detect any corrosion or other defects.

This program lets you avoid potential problems, such as leaks, before any damage is done to your home or the environment. If your qualified tank needs replacement, you'll receive a $1,000 credit towards the replacement when installed by Dead River Company.

The TankSure Program features:

• Tank analysis for internal corrosion and defects
• $1,000 tank replacement warranty

If you are enrolled in our EasyCAP Price Protection Plan, you can include the cost of EasyComfort and TankSure in your monthly EasyCAP payments. For more information, contact your local Dead River Company office.

*The TankSure Program is available to customers with above-ground fuel oil storage tanks with a capacity of 330 gallons or less. The TankSure Program provides tank testing service and the TankSure Program Limited Warranty. An ultrasonic tank test will be performed by our technician before your tank can be accepted for enrollment for the TankSure Program. While we cannot guarantee the prevention of a leak or other failure of your tank, we are providing these new services with hope that by testing and monitoring, we can offer our customers a long-term proactive tank replacement program. We recommend that an annual test of your fuel tank be performed. If a tank leak occurs due to the corrosion, TankSure will pay up to $1,000 towards the replacement of your tank in accordance with the terms of the TankSure Program Limited Warranty. A Warranty Certificate will be provided to you.
