Propane Safe Appliance Rebate

The rebate amounts are:
  • $300 for a propane hot water heater
  • $500 for a propane hot water and propane central heating system

Efficiency Maine Residential and Business Programs

Efficiency Maine provides incentive programs and education to help Maine homeowners and businesses save energy. Click on the links below for a list of current programs offered by Efficiency Maine:

 
PACE Loan Program

Borrow up to $15,000 for pre-approved energy efficiency projects, regardless of income. Maine PACE Financing is available in select towns (PDF). 

POWERSAVER Loan Program

Borrow up to $25,000 for pre-approved energy efficiency projects, regardless of income. All Maine communities are eligible for POWERSAVER financing.

New Hampshire:

NH Home Performance with ENERGY STAR

NH Home Performance with ENERGY STAR, a program sponsored by your local utility, in partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Department of Energy, offers a comprehensive, whole-house approach to improving energy efficiency and comfort at home, while helping to protect the environment.

This program assists eligible residential homeowners in making energy efficiency improvements to their homes. A certified building analyst will look at your home from attic to basement and identify where energy efficiency improvements can be made. Based on recommendations made by your certified building analyst, you could receive an incentive of 50% up to $4,000* of the installed costs of the recommended energy efficiency improvements. Vermont:

Vermont PACE Financing for Homeowners

A growing number of Vermont towns have adopted a PACE program introducing their homeowners to a new way to finance energy efficiency and renewable energy improvements. PACE allows homeowners to finance energy improvements for their homes with no upfront costs and they can enjoy the energy savings immediately, while paying for the improvements through a low payment over a period of up to 20 years. VT Home Performance with ENERGY STAR

Improving the energy efficiency of your home through Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® can make you more comfortable—and save you up to 30% on your energy bills. Take advantage of incentives from Efficiency Vermont with up to $2,000 in incentives when you complete energy efficiency improvements through a certified Home Performance with ENERGY STAR contractor. Massachusetts:

Mass Save® Rebates and Incentives

Mass Save available rebates and incentives may include: 75% up to $2000 toward the installation of approved insulation improvements; no-cost targeted air sealing; generous rebates on qualifying energy-efficient heating and hot water heating equipment; the opportunity to apply for 0% financing for eligible measures through the HEAT loan program; and more.
