Dead River Company is a large New England based company with locations throughoutJob Responsibilities:
Some of the more significant responsibilities include the following.
- Help deploy and then maintain corporate email system including day to day operations as well as long term monitoring of resource utilization.
- Help deploy and maintain a cluster of Citrix servers including hardware resources, software installations and upgrades, and user accounts.
- Assist in the development and implementation of the corporate-wide Windows Active Directory policies and procedures.
- Maintain system, database and file security, including user privileges and file access controls across all system platforms.
- Document system, network and security procedures and methods as necessary to provide timely, safe and efficient support.
- Help develop and test our disaster recovery procedure
Position Requirements:
We require a self motivated individual with experience in extending, enhancing, and customizing existing systems, as well as the planning and deployment of new systems. We also require broad technical, business and interpersonal skills in order to interact with users, understand and document requirements, and test applications. The desire to work in a team environment and a willingness to cross train as needed is paramount.
Knowledge:
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of systems support and management of multiple types of systems including Microsoft Windows 2003 Server, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Citrix, and Microsoft SQL and IIS. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of study and 2-3 years applicable work history is required.
