Small Business Around-the-Clock Rate: The "Small Business Around-the-Clock Rate" refers to the rate qualifying businesses pay per kilowatt hour for the electricity used all day, every day.
Electric Thermal Storage Rate: The "Electric Thermal Storage Rate" is a rate offered to residences and businesses, which heat with an Electric Thermal Storage (ETS) unit. To learn more about ETS units, click here.
About your Electricity Bill: Your electricity bill is made up of: 1. Utility’s costs for transmission and distribution (T&D rate); 2. The electricity supply. The above rates are for the supply side of electricity.
The additional savings realized when heating with Electric Thermal Storage comes from the utility's reduced T&D rate.
